About Tom

Tom Young is an environmental and consenting leader with over 15 years' experience across renewable energy and infrastructure in New Zealand, the UK and APAC.

As Head of Environment & Consents at BlueFloat Energy in New Zealand, Tom led environmental and consenting strategy for a multi billion dollar offshore wind portfolio. He previously delivered consents for the 1GW Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm in the UK, led sustainability integration nationally for the Infrastructure Sustainability Council, and chaired the NZ Offshore Wind Working Group.

Through Enhaven, Tom provides senior advisory across offshore and onshore renewables, infrastructure sustainability, consenting strategy and programme delivery — combining technical depth with strategic judgement to help clients de risk projects and build credible development pathways.
